Confirm mechanical and operational instructions, operating incorrectly can
seriously damage the equipment and cost hundred or thousands to repair.
Wear proper eye, face and hand protection when operating the power washing
    equipment
Keep hands and feet clear of the cleaning nozzle at all times.
Consider cleaning agents and toxicity depending on the amount of mold, dirt,
    grime, grease, wax
Always follow the manufacturing directions when attaching tips and replacement
    consumable
Confirm distance to surface, too close may deteriorate the life of the surface
and PSI, spraying too far away even with chemicals may be ineffective
and physically difficult
When washing large items and even small ones, start from the top and work your
    way down
Spray at a downward angle when washing house siding or wood  (As rain would
    drop)
Always shut engine off when filling the tank with gas

Be cautious when pressure washing Stucco, high pressure can damage the surface
When pressure washing always complete an area before moving on, you may
    forget an area
Approved cleaning solutions will normally be biodegradable and environmentally
    friendly
Using cleaning solution, you may have to give it time to react, see directions for
    each chemical
Chemicals should be applied at a low pressure so the chemical will not splash
    resulted in waste
Ratio's of chemicals will vary from unit to unit and chemical to chemical, read
    instructions
Not all pressure washing units are designed to use hot water, which can damage
    the pump
Disconnect the wand before cleaning any part of it.  If plugged, back flush the
    nozzle
If the nozzle gets plugged, be prepared with extra nozzles and tips
PSI is "Pounds Per Square Inch"  30 psi comes out of your outdoor hose
connection, basic pressure washing equipment starts off around 350 psi and goes
    to 2000 psi.
When using chemical correctly, PSI may not be relevant
GPM, helps when cleaning large simple surfaces, that require less PSI and more
volume.  Sometimes a hose from a sprayer is more useful than a pressure washer.
